I went over to my parents on Saturday and they were getting rid of lots of mismatched socks. My dad said this is "the year [they] get rid of stuff." I have no problem wearing two completely different socks so I left there with a big Target bag full. I do plan on wearing them all, but I decided to spare one for my new camera.
I started out with a plain old sock.
Then I put my camera inside and cut the top of the sock off so it was about an inch or two longer than the camera.
After that I used my scissors to poke holds around the top edge. I sewed on felt flowers I made and hot glued a ribbon around the bottom to cover up the seaming that exposed its sock qualities.
Finally, I threaded a ribbon threw the holes at the top to act as a drawstring.
That's it. Now my camera is safe from the perils of my purse and oh so cute.
adorable and can be used to hold sooo many things!
