Yesterday was a cold, rain drenched, gloomy day so after a morning meeting with a bride, all I really wanted to do was sit on our apartment in my pajamas and craft. So I did.
I actually bought this moccasin kit a whiiile ago (It was super cheap since I used a 50% off coupon).
I started assembling my moccasins as soon as I got home. It was a bit more complicated than I expected.
To add interest I bought some suede in cord in a contrasting color.
I'm in love with every single one of these moccasins so was hoping to recreate my own, on a much smaller budget. When I finished putting my moccasins together though, I ran completely out of steam and was totally uninspired.
I guess it's because Valentine's Day is on it's way, I decided I wanted hearts an arrows on my shoes. Felt ones to be exact.
I made stencils, cut them out, and used fabric glue to attach put it all together.
I think they turned out pretty darn cute. I'm sure it'd look more attractive without my big heavy socks but it's COLD today. I'll most definitely don these for Valentines day...and many days in between :o)

A few wedding pics
Happy Saturday and New Year's Eve friends! I cannot believe 2011 is almost over. Seriously, didn't it just begin??? Well, it's been a wonderful and blessed year and I look forward to seeing all that 2012 brings.
I've been a pretty absent blogger this week due to a wedding my friend (and business partner) and I designed and coordinated that was last night. I think I've mentioned a couple of times about our budding business and this was our first event. It was loads of time and work but it was so beautiful and everyone was so happy and amazed by all we did that it made it all worth it.
I used my new iPod Touch to snap a few photos before things got too crazy.

I plan on spending today relaxing and going to the gym. Tonight Brandon and I are going to our favorite Mexican restaurant! Do you have any good New Years plans???

Enchantment Tuesday
Well hello! Did y'all have a wonderful Christmas? Mine consisted of time with family, baking and eating, opening gifts, adn being thankful for so much. I'm probably one of the few bloggers who didn't take pictures of my holiday. Lame I know, but I just get so caught up in enjoying things that I forget to bring out my camera. Not such a terrible problem :o)
So, now that Christmas is over it's time to look forward to New Years and winter. Though I detest Winter there are some nice things about it, like snow days and these pretty things.

I'm always looking for ways to brighten up our apartment when it's cold and gloomy out. This yarn garland would be super pretty.
I simply love this print.
The snow and candles are so simple and really beautiful.
If I had a fancy New Years party to go to, this would be the dress.
I would like to spend the whole winter right here.
