New and Exciting

I recently became addicted to reading blogs (especially ones about cooking) and I realized that a blog is a wonderful place to share the things I create in the kitchen and elsewhere. I love being creative and though I teach cute little kindergarteners everyday, I still need a creative outlet on a regular basis where I get to make beautiful things rather than just math Go Fish Games and Rhyming Activities.

Before I decided I wanted to become a teacher my desire was to be an interior decorator. Though I left that Career aspiration behind, I did not leave behind my desire to create unique and yes, whimsical, dwellings and events. In June I married the love of my life and had the delightful pleasure of imagining and creating, with my family and friends, nearly every aspect of our wedding. In the future I will share many of my wedding projects which I poured much creativity and passion into.

Cooking has alway interested me and now that I have my own kitchen the sink is always full of the dishes my creations produce. My husband's appetite encourages me and my desire to feed him and I healthy and delicious food drives it all.
