Cookie Pops

Like I said yesterday, I had a really lovely Sunday. It ended in our cozy, quite apartment with Brandon happily playing his 3DS and me contentedly baking and crafting.
I wanted to make a little something to give my teaching pals during our workday today and I finally settled on cookie pops. I've seen these on a lot of different blogs and they're just so darn cute.

I used my go-to Cake Batter Cookie recipe and Buttercream Frosting. I made the cookie dough then I simply rolled each cookie into a ball and stuck the stick in it before I put them in the oven to make. After frosting them I decorated these treats with sugar I colored with food coloring.

  1. brilliant <3 you rock lady. I think you should sell these at the next indie market ;)

  2. how sweet you are! they look delish!

  3. Huh! I didn't know you could cook the sticks. Thanks for teaching me something today. What a sweet gift!
    Saw you on TT&J.

  4. What a sweet gift!! I love the colored sugar on them - so cute!!
